My name is Fortunate, and I am 14 years old. When I grow up, I want to become a nun because I admire how they dedicate their lives to serving
God. I live with my grandmother. She told me that my mother abandoned my father when I was young to marry another man. We are four
children at home, each with a different father, and our mother does not even visit us. I do not know who my father is. Life has not been easy,
and together with my siblings, we help our grandmother with farming so we can have food to eat. Through the support from Edu Child
Foundation Uganda, I now have the chance to continue with my education and work toward my dream of serving God and helping others.
