I am Shadia. I am 11 years old and in Primary Four. I live with my mother because I lost my father. My mother has eight children, and six of them
have already dropped out of school because we could not afford the fees. I was afraid I would be next; that I would have to leave school and
let go of my dreams. But now, with support from Edu Child Foundation, I believe I will finish my studies. My dream is to become a pilot so I can
support my mother and help lift our family out of poverty. In my village, very few girls get the chance to dream this big, and I am grateful that I
can hold onto my dream and work hard to make it happen.
