My name is Karen, and I am 17 years old. I am in Primary Seven and studying From Nebbi. We are ten children in our family; seven boys and
three girls. When we are on holiday, we help our parents with garden work. Although I am grateful to help at home, the work is tiring and
sometimes leaves me with little time to revise my books. I love playing netball at school and have represented my school in all the major
tournaments in the district. My dream is to become a nurse so I can care for the sick and help my community. With the support from Edu Child
Foundation Uganda, I now have the opportunity to focus on my studies and work toward achieving that goal. I also love the new uniforms the
organization provided for us.
