My name is Shamim. I am 13 years old and come from Akesi Village. I am currently in Primary Five. My dream is to become an accountant
because I perform well in my studies, and with the help of Edu Child Foundation, I now believe this is possible. Before receiving this support, I
was still in school, but as a total orphan who lost both parents, it was hard to see myself going far. I was frequently sent home for school fees.
My mother’s aunt tried to support me, but she does not have a job. The sponsorship from Edu Child Foundation has greatly restored my hope
for the future. I thank God for this program and for the opportunity it has given me to pursue my dreams.
